Maritime Speaker Series
January 4, 2023The next Maritime Speaker presentation takes place in-person and on-line on Thursday, February 2: Love and Life on the Great Lakes with Mr. and Mrs. Captain, presented by Peggy O’Connell and Captain Raymond Sheldon. On 30 June 2019, Captain Raymond Sheldon married Peggy O’Connell aboard the deck of the M/V Joseph L. Block, and he became the first active captain to get married on a Great Lakes vessel that he was captaining at the time.

2022 Door County Lighthouse Festivals
May 27, 2022Fall: September 30-October 2. The Festival weekend includes air, land-based, boat, and adventure tours that together reach all 11 of the treasured lighthouses of Door County, and three to the south! Many of the tour excursions provide visitors exclusive access to lighthouses not typically open to the public – Chambers Island, Kewaunee, Plum Island and Sherwood Point Lighthouses.
