Door County Maritime Museum Retail Support Opportunities
In the month of September, the Door County Maritime Museum is offering two non-profit, retail support opportunities to spice up your shopping experience at the Door County Maritime Museum; Younkers Community Days booklets and a month-long 10%-off book sale.
Every dollar from the sale of the Younker’s Community Days booklets goes to benefit the Door County Maritime Museum and educational programming efforts throughout the year. Customers will spend $5, a direct donation to the Door County Maritime Museum, and in exchange will receive valuable coupons to use during the Younkers Community Days Sale in early November. A goal has been set to sell 200 booklets prior to the November Younker’s sale. Door County Maritime Museum Executive Director, Amy Paul, says, “I am excited for the chance to work with Younkers and I hope that the community comes out to support the museum and to obtain great deals from Younkers at the same time. Please purchase your $5 booklet in the Sturgeon Bay store which is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm.”
Another sensational savings opportunity available for the month of September is a 10% discount on all museum books—but only at the Sturgeon Bay location of the Door County Maritime Museum. Hurry in while the selection is best and remember that the museum store has one of the largest collections of maritime books in the area. Cassie Buntin, store manager at the Door County Maritime Museum, explains, “There are hundreds of places to shop but your money has a longer reach here as it also helps the museum to continue in its mission of preserving and celebrating our Great Lakes and Door County maritime history and providing educational opportunities for current and future generations. Thank you for your support while you save on that unique literary present for your nautical friends or family members.”
