Here is a list of tour packages for June 10-12, 2011.
Cana Island and Eagle Bluff lighthouses will open during the festival, maintaining their regular in-season schedule and rates.
Varying degrees of access to the Baileys Harbor Range Lights, Sherwood Point and Sturgeon Bay Canal Station will be available for a free-will donation.
The narrated tours shown below are recommended for the best possible viewing and informational experience.
Package tickets go on sale for Door County Maritime Museum members on March 21 with the general public sales starting April 4.

Tours departs from Orchard Country Winery in Fish Creek and Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The six-hour tour spotlights five mainland-accessible lighthouses - Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, Cana Island Lighthouse, Baileys Harbor Range Lights, Sherwood Point Lighthouses and Sturgeon Bay Canal Station lights. Included in the tour is an old-time picnic lunch on Cana Island. Package also includes admission to the Door County Maritime Museum, Eagle Bluff and Cana Island lighthouses. For those who prefer to tour the mainland lighthouses on their own. Cana Island Light Station and Eagle Bluff Lighthouse will be maintaining their regular in-season hours of operation and rates; no parking restrictions and no shuttle needed. Varying degrees of access to the Baileys Harbor Range Lights, Sherwood Point Lighthouse, and the Sturgeon Bay Canal Station will be available for a free-will donation at each location. NOTE: These lighthouses are located in or very near residential areas. Please note that although not restricted, parking will be extremely limited at Cana Island and Sherwood Point, and traffic may be congested. Please respect private property and posted speed limits. No advance sales; purchase admission or make donate upon arrival at each property.

Lighthouse Festival weekend kicks off with a pair of cruises aboard the tour yacht Harbor Lady to Sherwood Point Lighthouse on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. The early tour features a dinner buffet and the later cruise a dessert bar. Relatives of lighthouse keepers will be on board to share lighthouse experiences and memorabilia from the days when lights needed to be manned. The tours will include an interesting water view of the Bay Shipbuilding yard, one of the largest shipyards on the Great Lakes and home to some of the largest vessels on the lakes. Also, cruise past Dunlap Reef -- a tiny piece of land that once actually held a lighthouse. Package includes admission to the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay and its popular exhibit “Ghosts! Traditionally, one of the most popular boat excursions. The tour leaves Gills Rock Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. for six-hour voyage across Death’s Door and into Michigan waters. Tour passes Poverty and St. Martin islands with stop at Rock Island for a mile-long hike to the Pottawatomie Lighthouse, Wisconsin’s oldest, and on past the Plum Island lights and the Pilot Island Lighthouse. Bring your own sack lunch; no concessions available on boat or Island. Package includes admission to the Door County Maritime Museum in Gills Rock. Offered in conjunction with Island Clipper Tours. The Chambers Island tour returned last year after lengthy absence from the festival schedule. It proved extremely popular. This year the tour returns but, as of press time for the brochure, it appears a 1-1/2 mile docent-led hike across the island to the historic lighthouse will be required. Lighthouse caretakers will meet the tours as they arrive at the house. There you will be able tosoak up the amazing view, and climb to the lantern room platform.
Note: Good hiking shoes recommended and participants should be in good enough shape to handle the hike in the allocated time.
Time on the island will be approximately 2-1/2 hours. $65 per person. Package includes admission to the Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. Offered in conjunction with Salmon Depot Charters. Capacity: 13 per tour.

Take this intimate narrated tour aboard the14-passager Shoreline Charter into Death’s Door, some of the most history-rich straits on the Great Lakes. Tour departs from Gills Rock for water views of the Range Lights and the abandoned Coast Guard Station on Plum Island and then to eerie Pilot Island with its bare trees and deteriorating lighthouse. A rare offering, permitting visitors onto Plum Island for a guided tour by members of the Friends of Plum & Pilot Islands. Only four tours are being allowed on the island which is under the authority of the United States Fish & Wildlife Service. Two tours will leave Saturday and Sunday from the Gills Rock dock. Offered in conjunction with Shoreline Charters. This is a walking tour and requires good footwear. Shorts are not recommended. Capacity: 14 per tour. $67.50 per person.

The three-hour lunch tour leaves at 10 a.m. Sunday and will provide close-up views of the Sherwood Point Lighthouse, Bay Shipbuilding shipyard and Dunlap Reef, former home to a lighthouse. It’s then on to the United States Coast Guard’s Sturgeon Bay Canal Station and two more lights.
