Museum shares holiday spirit with the Merry-Time Festival of Trees, November 14 – January 3.
Keep holiday traditions alive and bring your family and friends to the 9th annual Merry-Time Festival of Trees from November 14 to January 3, at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. The Festival turns the Museum into a winter wonderland with uniquely decorated trees, wreaths and decorative displays donated to DCMM by businesses and individuals in the community.
Visitors and supporters of the museum during the Festival can purchase raffle tickets for chances to win a display and take it home! One ticket is included with every adult Museum admission. Additional raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. All children accompanied by an adult receive free admission to the Museum from November 27–30.
Santa lights up the night at DCMM on Saturday, November 14 with the FIRST lighting of the Beacon Room at the top of the new Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower, and the holiday lighting on the historic tug John Purves.
- Children are encouraged to bring copies of their Letters to Santa.
- Socially distanced photo opportunities with Santa wll be available 3-4pm.
- Santa will countdown to the lighting of the tug and Beacon at 4:30pm.
