Merry-Time Festival of Trees Trees on display November 13, 2021-January 2, 2022; 10am-5pm
Joyously celebrate the holidays by enjoying dozens of beautifully decorated trees and decorative displays in the museum.
Fantastically decorated by local businesses, organizations and residents, each of these extraordinary trees is adorned with beautiful ornaments and special surprises. Best of all, every tree will go home with a lucky winner in our Merry-Time Festival of Trees raffle!
Trees will remain at the museum until January 2 so they can be enjoyed by all visitors through the holidays.

Museum admission of $12 for adults includes a free Merry-Time Festival of Trees raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25.
All children 17 and younger accompanied by an adult receives FREE admission to the Museum every Sunday during the festival – November 14, 21, 28, December 5, 12, 19, 26, and January 2.
Jingle Mixer Gala
December 14, 2021; 6pm
We’re inviting you to celebrate the holidays, and mix and mingle through the Door County ‘Merry’-Time Museum’s winter wonderland of trees, wreaths and holiday displays, during the Jingle Mixer Gala, the evening of Tuesday, December 14.
During the Gala, enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Thyme Catering (Sister Bay), open wine & beer bar, live music, and auctions. And the raffle winners will be chosen for the trees, wreaths and decorations on display!
The Gala is limited to 250 people.
The Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower will only be open to those who purchase VIP tour tickets in advance.
Secure your tickets early by sponsoring the event or decorating and donating a tree! Decoration donors receive 2 complimentary tickets to the Gala. (Call the Museum for more info.)
The auction for Museum Experience packages will go live online November 29. Place your bids early, and use our app to bid online during the live auction during the Gala.

Kids Day & Santa at the Museum! Santa arrives via U.S. Coast Guard boat at 10am. Socially distanced photo opportunities with Santa available 10am-2pm.
Children are encouraged to bring their Letters to Santa, and to spend time at the Museum participating in holiday activities, and exploring the Museum—for FREE!
All children 17 & younger accompanied by an adult receive free admission to the museum, Sundays during the Festival: Nov. 14, 21, 28, Dec. 5, 12, 19, 26, & Jan. 2.
Lights On at DCMM, 4pm! Santa lights things up with the holiday lighting of the Museum, Tugboat John Purves and Festival of Trees;

An auction offering what you love: Museum-exclusive experiences! Each auction lot offers an opportunity for you to experience the Museum and partner properties like never before. Enjoy behind the scenes exclusives, use of Museum event spaces, special tours, and holiday parties – if you’re the highest bidder. All auction proceeds benefit the mission of the Door County Maritime Museum and Lighthouse Preservation Society to preserve Great Lakes maritime history, and provide interpretive and education opportunities for current and future generations.
